In the Beginning...

In 1994 Michael Woods, President/CEO and Ramona Woods, Vice President/
CFO, decided to take a risk and turn their mutual experience and passion for
the salon industry to a new level by filling a void in the marketplace.  They saw
the need for a multi-cultural hair care company that served salons, not only with
better quality products but also to provide education on using the products and 
the latest hair style techniques and applications to help their customers'
 businesses grow and prosper.  


They began their quest by mortgaging their home and sacrificing personal
items to raise the necessary cash.  The company was named after their two
daughters Ashley and Taylore.  Ashtae means The Power of Positive
Thought which they believed was appropriate considering the odds of the
venture they set out to build.  Difficult as it was in the early years, Michael
and Ramona never lost their dream.  They began by distributing their unique
hair care products out of a barn behind their home.  Mistakes made during the
early years taught them lessons that are now shared with their customers.
Their perserverance comes from sheer faith and commitment which they now
use to motivate others through Ashtae Boot Camps™, conventions and
educational classes.

Family, faith and finance are all important pillars of the company's philosophy.
As the company has grown, the care and concern for their customers,
distributors and the industry continue to be the driving forces behind their
passion.

Where We are Today...

Ashtae Products is experiencing record growth in the multi-cultural hair care
market with our distribution center and product distribution.  Our licensed
distributors' network includes USA, Canada, British Virgin Islands, Caribbean
Islands, Trinidad & Tobago and the United Kingdom.  Our customer base has
exponentially expanded with customers from Alaska & Barbados.  Ashtae has
accomodated this growth with its recent expansion into our new 46,000 sq.
foot headquarters which houses our warehouse, salon furniture gallery,
conference center, educational class rooms and administration offices.
The new world headquarters building which opened in 2006 in Greensboro,
North Carolina is centrally located to quickly distribute products and materials
to better serve our customers.  With the new Fed Ex southeastern hub
addition located in Greensboro, we expect our growing distribution needs to
be thoroughly met.
